Edward A Glabicki

Edward Glabicki, age 79, lifelong resident of Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. Cherished husband of Bernadette "B" nee Helma; beloved brother of the late Lottie (Bernard Chwalisz), Lillian (Andrew Brongiel), and Frances (William Beyer); loving son of the late Anton Glabicki and Bernice Sklankowski; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Eddie, as he was often called, was a graduate of Saint Barbara and DeLa Salle High School. He was devoted to his parish and active in the Holy Name Society, Finance Council, Parish Pastoral Council, Usher and Thursday Night Bingo. Along with his wife B, Eddie led the parish Art & Environment Decorating team at Christmas and Holy Week/Easter - a tradition he treasured. 

Lying-in-Repose at his beloved church, Saint Barbara, on Friday, August 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 31st from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL Section 62, Lot 568.
