Carol A. Kurth, age 80, life-long resident of Chicago’s Westlawn neighborhood; cherished daughter of the late Milton and Lucille. Carol attended St. Nicholas of Tolentine elementary school and Lindblom High School before graduating from Maria High School in Chicago’s Marquette Park neighborhood. She attended Mount Mary College in Cedar Rapids, IA, St. Xavier University, and the Ray Vogue School of Interior Design in Chicago. As a world traveler, Carol’s passport includes stamps from Chain, Japan, Indian, Thailand, Korea and 13 other nations. A self-described artist and photographer, Carol was especially proud of her years coordinating the liturgical Art & Environment at St. Nicholas. She also spent many years singing in the parish choir. Carol was a member of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (ACCW) and the St. Jane de Chantal Women’s Pilgrimage Society.
