Mary Lillian Vaccaro

Mary Lillian ‘Mary Lou’ Vaccaro, age 91, January 28, 2021. Mary Lou was born to Rafael and Donata ‘Nettie’ (nee Renna) Vaccaro. Dearest sister of the late Lawrence (late Helen) Vaccaro, late Nancy (late Joseph) Kloptowski, Elizabeth (late Robert) Deuser, Dolores (late Carlton) Brann, Carol (Edward) Prenot, and her two brothers. Nicky and Charlie, who died in infancy.  Most beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Loving and cherished cousin and friend to many.

Mary Lou lived a long, rich and wonderful life. She brought great joy to her family, friends, and those with whom were lucky to know her. Her quick wit and sense of humor along with her beautiful smile made her a joy to be around and will be missed immensely.

Per her wishes, Mary Lou has been cremated and will be buried under a lilac bush at her niece Colleen’s home in Blowing Rock, NC.  A Celebration of Life will take place at that time.

Family and friends will safely gather on Saturday, February 6th beginning at 11:30 a.m. at St. Barbara Church, 2858 S Throop St. where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all visitors must register in advance (SEE LINKS BELOW UNDER SERVICE INFORMATION). In accordance with local, state and national mandates, all visitors are required to wear a face covering. The family appreciates your sincere cooperation during these particularly challenging and difficult times.  If you do not feel well, it is recommended that you stay home and rest.
